Course Discerption:

Training would take place at An-najah National University

Each participant is given the chance to practically experience how to deliver nitrous oxide to his patients

Each participant is given the chance to try the feeling and effects of nitrous oxide on himself for better understanding on how a sedated patient will feel

Course Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course trainees should be able to:

• Select the right patient
• The ability to use the laughing gas device in the appropriate way
• The ability to use the appropriate amounts of nitrous oxide and oxygen
• Ability to deal with complications if they occur

Administration of nitrous oxide sedation and Complications associated with nitrous oxide administration

Target Audience: Dental graduates

Module Duration: 4 sessions, 1 session every week, over a period of one month
